The owners, Mike and Olivia met in Majorca in 2000 and their love of the island began!
'Sa Font Calenta' - The history
At the time, we both had very busy work lives , Mike as Managing Director of his own Internet Company and myself as a National Sales Manager within the Hotel Industry. The appeal of Majorca with its ease of access, great climate, excellent restaurants and picturesque countryside was immence. We visited the island regulary, staying in villas of all shapes and sizes and each time looking for that 'special' place to call our own.

After 6 years we discovered Arta, we had tended to stay on the outskirts of Palma but now with a growing family our 'wish list' of the perfect holiday home was even greater. We still wanted ease of access to Palma and the airport, good restuarants etc. But Arta and the surrounding costal area also offered beautiful unspoilt countryside and beaches, perfect for the children.
"Because we couldn't find any ideal villas for rent in Majorca we decided to create our own."
It took 2 years from the purchase of 'Sa Font Calenta' to its completion, and it has been a pleasure to put together all the good ideas (and avoid the bad ones!) from our visits over the years. Sa Font Calenta is predominatly our home rather than a rental investment, we hope that this will show in its finish and attention to detail.
